London

Taken during my trip to London in March 2009.  See below for descriptions.

1. Tower Bridge, as seen from the northern bank of the Thames River.  Yeah, it's cliche, but c'mon, it's one of the greatest bridges ever built.
2. St. Paul's Cathedral, with the pedestrian bridge in the foreground.
3. One of the many traditional (and completely unused) telephone booths.  They're still pretty cool, just useless.
4. An older building facade on Fleet Street, which used to run along an underground river/sewer, but is now one of the classier broad streets in old London.
5. St. James's Palace.
6. The White Tower at the Tower of London.  This tower was the original structure, built on top of Roman ruins in 1078 by William the Conquerer, and was expanded during the medieval ages to include three curtain walls.
7. Houses near Little Italy.  I told you London was classy.
8. The facade of the building where I spent the weekend.
9. One of the gargoyles at Westminster Abbey.
