New York City
Family Vacation in August 2009 - four days of walking all over the city.
1. A fire hydrant in Little Italy. All of them look like this.
2. A skyscraper (apparently the Wellington) somewhere in Midtown.
3. American flags are everywhere in New York, but this was the coolest - faces of immigrants on Ellis Island.
4. Washington Park - the weather was much nicer than that of Germany (Sun? What's that?)
5. The Statue of Liberty - glad we went early in the morning, by 10AM it was full.
6. Some of Chinatown's fresher, if not least appetizing, seafood.
7. Looking down from the Empire State Building.
8. The view down Park Avenue.
9. The (now unused) ticket station at Grand Central Station.
