Maui Gallery
Spring Break 2010 - a very nice break from the cold, cold, MI winter.
1. I'm not sure what these plants actually are, but we called them the upside down palm tree.
2. Looking across the channel to the island of Lanai.
3. If you squint, you can see a humpback whale breaching.
4. An old wooden statue somewhere in a shopping mall area.
5. The view never really gets old - it's surprising how that happens with dramatic jungle mountains...
6. An old shack near Pa'ia.
7. Sadly this sign misled me, but their coffee was good (even if not roasted locally).
8. The Iao Needle in Central Maui (no, I can't pronounce it either).
