Scotland Gallery

Taken during our trip to Scotland over Easter 2009.  Naturally these are only a sample of the things we saw and did, but to try to put up everything would be nearly impossible.  Hope you enjoy! For more, check out the galleries for each area of the trip.

Edinburgh
Isle of Mull
Highlands

Or feel free to click on the arrows below the gallery and experience the trip in order.

1. A sample of the great scenery seen from the train on the West Highland Railway between Glasgow and Craignure.
2. The back door to Rosslyn Chapel (sadly the same one of The Da Vinci Code fame) - the inside was even more impressive, and thankfully there weren't a lot of others there.
3. A local folk band playing at Hootanany's (not even kidding) in Inverness.
4. A carved pictish stone in the National Museum of Scotland showing a drunk old noble from about 400 CE - it appears that parody in the British Isles has a rich history.
5. A ship in the port city of Oban.
6. Duart Castle on the isle of Mull.
7. View of Edinburgh Castle from the Grassmarket, site of the former gallows.
8. Inverness Castle and the River Ness.
9. Lone sheep looking out over the water on the Isle of Mull.
